Alta Vista Serves Meal of Love

REDLANDS, Calif.– Alta Vista Credit Union prepared and served its second Meal of Love at the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House in Loma Linda, Calif.

The dinner was prepared by 11 Alta Vista employees: Susie Jarvis, Amber Green, Stephanie Jordan, Shana Crane, Amber Astilleros, Kris Bussard, Jackie Gallegos, Taylor Carrol, Jacqueline Sanderson, Erica Leal and Ben Lopez, and family member Jimmy Sadler. The meal consisted of chicken and beef street tacos, beans, rice, potato salad and dessert, and more than 60 people were fed.

“We felt that the Meal of Love was a special way for us to help families that are going through such difficult times,” said Susie Jarvis, Head of Business Development at Alta Vista Credit Union. “Serving some of the families that are staying at The Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House was something that we very much enjoyed doing, and goes along with the people helping people mentality of our entire credit union.”

Community philanthropy is one of Alta Vista Credit Union’s top priorities, along with serving its members, the credit union said.
