REDLANDS, Calif.– Alta Vista Credit Union announced that Maria Burkitt has been appointed Director of Operations.
In this position, Maria will be responsible for leadership and supervision of Branch and Call Center Operations, and will direct and coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, benefits, and employee services.
“Maria brings more than 16 years of financial services experience and a wealth of knowledge to her new position. She has served in several capacities with Alta Vista over the last 13 years, most recently as the main branch manager,“ said Kris Bussard, Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for Alta Vista Credit Union. “Her relationships with the members and her diverse knowledge of the operation will be an immediate asset to the credit union.”

In addition to this promotion, Alta Vista announced the promotion of Daniel Herrera to the position of Branch Manager. Daniel is responsible for the overall daily management of the Branch staff as well as organizing and supervising the sales and operational aspects of the branch. Daniel brings 12 years of diverse experience from financial services organizations to Alta Vista and will be an excellent leader in this key position.
