OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.–Jeff Havener has been named as Allegiance Credit Union’s new senior vice president/chief lending officer. The executive search was conducted by Credit Union Resources for the $260 million dollar credit union.
Previously the senior vice president/chief lending officer at Columbia Credit Union in Vancouver, Wash., Havener was responsible for the production and operations of the credit union’s lending channels. He was also a member of the executive loan committee, loan review committee, ALCO, and pricing committee while at Columbia CU.
Prior to working at Columbia CU, Havener was the senior vice president/regional manager of mortgage at the Bank of the Cascades in Medford, Ore. He was responsible for mortgage production in 35 branch locations in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, along with the mortgage department consisting of 20 loan officers.
With 28 years of lending experience in the financial services industry, Havener will help Allegiance CU continue to meet the needs of its members and the community throughout the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. He is recognized for his leadership skills and extensive experience in all facets of consumer lending and collections, including small claims actions, bankruptcies, and foreclosures.
Havener received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore. He is also affiliated with the Mortgage Bankers Association, the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, Rotary, United Way, and Faith Fulmer Cancer Foundation.
