BRYAN, Texas–Staff at Aggieland Credit Union has been serving up kindness by volunteering their time serving lunch at the Twin City Mission’s Community Café on Tuesdays during May to give back to the community as a part of the Aggieland Credit Union GREATER GOOD Program.
Twin City Mission serves the seven counties of the Brazos Valley: Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson & Washington and beyond. At the Community Café, food is a source of comfort and good nutrition contributes to the individual's physical and mental health. They strive to provide the best food services that they can for the Shelter family and anyone in the community in need of a hot meal.
The Aggieland Credit Union GREATER GOOD Volunteer Program is one way of formally demonstrating the credit union’s commitment to supporting employee’s passion for service while making a difference in the communities in which it operates. It encourages volunteering activities to give its people the opportunity to actively contribute to their community through supporting registered charities and not-for-profit organizations.
