ST. PAUL, Minn.--Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union has promoted Teri Laufers to Chief Information Officer.
Laufers joined Affinity Plus in 2014, bringing with her nearly 30 years of industry experience, and most recently served as Senior Vice President of IT Operations & Development at Affinity Plus. In this role, she led significant organizational change as the executive sponsor of several system conversions at Affinity Plus, including the core processing and digital banking systems, the CU said. “I was quickly drawn to Teri and her proactive drive to make us stronger as a credit union,” said Dave Larson, Affinity Plus President/CEO. “We had solutions, technology and an infrastructure that had become outdated and from the moment she came to Affinity Plus, she has pushed us forward to enhance the experience for members and employees. Her work and success with our core conversion made this decision an easy one. We are a much stronger credit union today because of the leadership of Teri.” As Chief Information Officer, Laufers will be responsible for technical and regulatory operations related to the credit union’s entire infrastructure, including systems, applications, network security, computer operations, digital banking, development, testing and technical support. Laufers will continue as a member of the senior management team at Affinity Plus.
“I’m a strong champion for technology advancements and change, which is near constant in the world of technology,” said Laufers. “I love working collaboratively with colleagues to bring effective technology forward – in big and small ways – to make a positive difference for our members and employees.”
