LAKE MARY, Fla.– In order to help those facing hardship amid the coronavirus pandemic, Addition Financial has donated more than $30,000 to local non-profits to support their emergency funds for students and staff, food banks and other areas of need.
The credit union’s donations have supported A Gift For Teaching, Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, Education Foundation of Osceola County, Education Foundation of Lake County, UCF Foundation, Foundation for Seminole State College and Valencia College Foundation.
“We know our community is under enormous stress and is facing significant hardship,” said President and CEO Kevin Miller. “Our choices have the potential to meaningfully help those who need it the most. As we continue to navigate through these unique and evolving challenges, Addition Financial stands by ready to help.”
Addition Financial said it has also taken measures to ensure that members are able to manage their finances with fewer worries about loan payments. In addition, the credit union remains open to serve members, offering extended drive-thru hours and providing specific in-branch services by appointment only.
