Achieva Credit Union Opens First Branch in Hernando County as Florida Expansion Continues

DUNEDIN, Fla.--Achieva Credit Union is planting deeper roots across Florida with the opening of its very first branch in Hernando County, bringing its community-first banking model to the heart of Spring Hill. Located at 7126 Mariner Boulevard, the new Mariner Branch is now open and serving members.

To celebrate, Achieva will host a two-day grand opening celebration beginning with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 19, followed by a community-wide event on Saturday, September 20 featuring giveaways, local food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment.

“For nearly 90 years, Achieva has grown by showing up for communities, not just as a place to bank, but as a partner in people’s everyday lives. We are committed to giving back to the communities we are privileged to serve,” said Eric Jenkins, CEO of Achieva Credit Union. “Spring Hill represents everything we value: strong families, hard-working people, and a sense of local pride. We’re honored to be here and excited to grow together.”

Achieva Credit Union’s Mariner Branch offers full-service personal and business banking, home and auto loans, and face-to-face financial guidance, all with a focus on relationships over transactions. Designed to feel like a community hub, the new state-of-the-art location features open spaces for conversations, private meeting rooms, and technology that makes everyday banking easier and more accessible.

“As someone who has spent many years in this region, I know firsthand how much this community values trust, accessibility, and personal connection,” said Colin Lopez, Market President at Achieva Credit Union. “This new branch is a reflection of our promise to listen to local needs and serve our members like neighbors, because that’s exactly what they are.”
