SOUTH ST. PAUL, Minn.–Wakota Federal Credit Union (WFCU) has named the big winners of its 2019 year-end WINcentive Savings cash prizes.
Victory J, a member of WFCU since 2014, won $5,000. And Monica G, a member since 1991, won $500. In addition, Mary G, a member since 1997, won $1,000 on a special holiday drawing in December.
Checks were presented to each at Wakota FCU main branch in South St. Paul. “Thank you, thank you, thank you... I really appreciate you. I’m truly happy! God bless,” said one of the winners.
WINcentive Savings is a prize-linked savings account available at WFCU. It offers prize drawing entries in return for each time accountholders increase their savings balance by $25 (up to four entries per month). Prize drawings occur monthly, quarterly and annually for varying amounts.
Throughout 2019, WFCU members have won a total of $8,100. The WINcentive Savings product has been offered since 2016. And over the past four years a total of $16,400 has been awarded to members at Wakota FCU.
