AUSTIN, Texas–A+ Federal Credit Union (A+FCU) has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2022 honor by the Austin American-Statesman on the heels of announcing a pay increase of $20 per hour effective wage for on-site entry level employees.
In addition to a higher starting pay for new team members, current employees also received a pay increase in recognition of their contributions to the credit union, A+ FCU said.
Top Workplaces winners are determined solely by employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few. A+FCU ranked in the top 15 of the large business category, which includes Austin-area organizations with over 500 employees.
"We’re so honored A+ Federal Credit Union has been recognized with a Top Workplaces award by the Austin American-Statesman," said President/CEO Eric R. Kase. "Over the past few years, we've implemented a number of new employee programs to support our team members. To learn they've rated A+FCU in such a positive way is incredibly meaningful."
Since its founding in 1949, A+FCU said its leaders have dedicated themselves to the credit union philosophy of people helping people, including continuing to evolve the company culture with focus on putting people first. With “Banking on each other. Building stronger communities” as its mission, A+FCU is proud to serve members and local communities and understands that success is due to the passion and commitment of its employees.
"We know the importance our team is to our success, so we're pleased to announce that we recently increased our on-site entry level effective pay to $20 per hour," said Kase. "As we continue to grow our team, we're excited to offer this increased compensation and celebrate the endorsement as one of the Top Workplaces in the Austin area.”
