AUSTIN, Texas–A+ Federal Credit Union has awarded 45 Central Texas high school and college students with $90,000 in scholarships for the 2018-2019 school year.
The scholarships have been an A+FCU tradition since 1984. Each student receives $2,000 to help with educational expenses. The 45 recipients were selected for their academic achievements and community involvement. They represent 30 high schools and 6 colleges.
“The A+FCU Scholarship Program began by awarding two scholarships and has grown to what it is today,” said Kerry A.S. Parker, A+FCU CEO. “We are very proud to be able to expand a program that awards students with funds to help fulfill their dream of going to college.”
