WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn.– 360 Federal Credit Union has presented its annual donation of $1,000 to Jeremy Race, Chief Operating Officer of Junior Achievement of Southwest New England.
For the past 10 years 360 FCU employees have volunteered to teach the JA curriculum in many schools throughout Hartford County. The 360 FCU employees teach Junior Achievement’s JA In A Day program, a day when volunteers present the programs to students for an entire school day.
“Partnering with Junior Achievement to deliver their programs in the classroom is a tremendously rewarding experience. Helping students develop important life skills to enable them to achieve financial independence is a passion of mine. The opportunity to positively impact even one student’s future is a powerful motivator," said Karen Bauer, Executive Vice President of 360 Federal Credit Union.
