3 VyStar Employees Featured in 'Military Makeover' TV Show

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.— VyStar Credit Union announced today that three leaders in its organization were featured in a segment of the “Military Makeover Operation Career” TV show, which airs on Lifetime and is hosted by Montel Williams.

VyStar team members Brittany Bennett, Allie L. Braswell Jr. and Bob Sanders shared how their military service provided the leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills necessary to transition to civilian careers.

The “Military Makeover Operation Career” segment features:

  • Brittany Bennett, third-party risk manager, who served as a ship’s serviceman third class with the U.S. Navy. Bennett explains the similarities between her military service and her current role.
  • Allie L. Braswell Jr., vice president of cultural diversity, equity and inclusion, who served as a staff sergeant with the U.S. Marines. Braswell addresses his post-military career challenges and how his experience helps him lead VyStar’s cultural diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Bob Sanders, vice president and military liaison, who served as a captain in the U.S. Navy before retiring and building a civilian career. Sanders shares how his military service prepared him for his present role and the benefits of working with a veteran-friendly organization.

In addition to insights into the military-to-civilian career transition, the “Military Makeover Operation Career” segment highlights VyStar’s commitment to supporting the financial wellness of military communities through products, services and support for its military members and their families.
