ROANOKE, Va.–Three employees of Member One FCU have been appointed to various organizations’ boards.
Jessica Clarkson, Assistant Vice President Business Development, as been named to the board of directors at Susan G. Komen Virginia Blue Ridge. Clarkson’s position officially begins January 2017 and is a two-year term. Clarkson said she wanted to be on the board to help raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early detection.
“I want to help better the lives of those impacted by breast cancer. My mom passed away from breast cancer, so I have a very personal connection and want to get involved and help in any way possible,” Clarkson said.
Frank Giannini, Assistant Vice President Business Development, has been appointed to the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce board of directors, effective September 2016.
Giannini is also a member and past-president of the Rotary Club of Roanoke Valley and currently serves as an advisor for Leadership Roanoke Valley.
Chad King, Market Manager of Member One’s Salem, Va. Retail Center, has been appointed to a two-year term to the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia.
King is looking forward to being involved in providing financial education to area students, networking opportunities, long-lasting relationships with business leaders, and representing Member One in the community.
