HARRISBURG, Penn.– Two credit unions have joined Pennsylvania Credit Union Service Centers.
Spirit Financial CU, located in Levittown, Penn. has joined as an issuer and acquirer, allowing members to perform transactions at CO-OP Shared Branch locations.
“We added Shared Branching to better serve our existing members and expand our reach with the community we serve,” said David Obarowski, CEO at Spirit Financial CU. “With only one branch location, becoming part of the shared branching network provides us an effective and cost-efficient way to accomplish our goal.”
Added PaCUSC’s Shared Branch Coordinator, Monika Edlis, “We are very excited to have Spirit Financial CU join our shared branching network. Shared Branching is a cooperative effort, unique to credit unions and their philosophy.”
Separately, Greater Pittsburgh FCU has joined the shared branching network.
“We decided to join the CO-OP Shared Branch network as a way to provide additional locations and hours to serve our ever-growing membership,” said Steve Kosslow, COO/CFO at Greater Pittsburgh FCU.
