WATERFORD, Conn.–Charter Oak Federal Credit Union held its annual scholarship reception where its president and chief executive officer, Brian A. Orenstein, presented 45 college scholarships totaling $90,000.

WOODBURY, Minn.–Ideal Credit Union member Stephanie Smidt and her family had been raising money to bring their baby daughter home from China when she was randomly selected as the winner of the $1,000 “Use & Win” Debit Card Giveaway.

RIVERDALE, Utah – During April, America First Credit Union asked members to take advantage of electronic statements instead of paper statements, and pledged to donate $1 for every paper statement canceled during the month to TreeUtah,  a statewide non-profit organization devoted to ensuring the health of the ecosystems along Utah. 

LANSING, Mich. — LAFCU’s partnership with WKAR Radio during its Spring Fundraiser resulted in the credit union donating $2,712.50 – the equivalent of 8,137 meals – to Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB). 

JACKSON, Mich.–American 1 Credit Union has awarded 10 high school graduates from southern Michigan with $1,000 scholarships for their commitment to altruism and community service.
