HOUSTON–eCU Technology, a CUSO that said it is focused on helping credit unions become “digital powerhouses” through its ORIGINS platform, has named Matthew Downing as its new president.
Downing previously served as VP/manager, enterprise programs and strategy for the $5.8-billion Tinker Federal Credit Union in Oklahoma City, Okla., and has a “successful track record of developing and executing strategic plans as well as building high performing operations and technology teams,” the company said.
Throughout Downing's career, eCU Technology said he has focused on improving the user experience. His knowledge and expertise align perfectly with eCU Technology's focus on streamlining the digital account opening process and helping credit unions achieve long-term growth, the company added.
“I'm thrilled to join the eCU Technology team. Our industry has an urgent opportunity right now to meet our members' digital needs," says Downing. "eCU Technology's newly reimagined ORIGINS platform could not be released at a better time.”
