Xtend Takes Part in CU*South Visionary Conference; Onboards 5 New CUs

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.–Xtend, Inc. recently participated in the 2015 CU*South Visionary Conference in New Orleans alongside credit union professionals from more than two-dozen credit unions and industry partners. The event wrapped up a busy summer of executive leadership conferences hosted by the CUSOs that comprise the cuasterisk.com network.

“It is a tradition across our network that each summer we invite our customer-owners to our respective annual meetings,” said CEO Scott Collins. “It started in May with our partners at eDOC Innovations, then June for our partners at CU*Answers and CU*Northwest, and culminated with our partners at CU*South this week. Right in the middle we held our Xtend event in Grand Rapids and had our largest attendance ever. When the numbers are totaled, we expect that collectively our network conferences will have been attended by over 400 credit union professionals from 125 credit unions across the US. And it wouldn’t surprise me if those numbers were even higher.”

Collins noted that teams from each of the cuasterisk.com CUSOs had already begun planning their summer of 2016 events in Grand Rapids, Spokane and New Orleans.

Separately, Xtend announced that it has completed the on-boarding process for five new credit union clients and is now performing the ongoing log management activities in support of each credit union’s overall compliance monitoring strategy. With the addition of these five, Xtend now supports 50 credit unions in 14 states.

“More and more of the credit unions in the cuasterisk.com network are looking for assistance to help manage an increasingly complex compliance environment, and Xtend is happy to answer the call when they need a body to handle the daily log management activities,” said Coliins. “Our partners at CU*Answers handle the core-related and consultative needs for these credit unions and then bring us to the table if shared execution resources are needed to help their client either short- or long-term. We also help each credit union converting to the CU*BASE® core data processing system by providing up to thirty days of log management services so those tasks can be easily transitioned to the client in a seamless, effective manner. The fact that several have stayed with us means that we are filling a necessary niche for our mid-market customer owners.”
