HARRISBURG, Penn.–Vizo Financial Corporate CU said it will again be hosting its annual hot dog eating contest this summer as a means of raising money, awareness and support for Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.
The 11th annual event is scheduled for July 18 and is open to credit unions and their employees, as the event takes place virtually.
Over the past 11 years the contest has generated nearly $60,000 for the hospital, where it is used for much-needed equipment, treatment programs and other items to provide a better experience for young patients and their families, Vizo Financial said.
