PASADENA, Calif. – Wescom Resources Group, a provider of software and technology solutions for credit unions, announced that its president, Tim Dolan, has retired after serving for 12 years as a member of Wescom’s executive team, including nine years in which he served as WRG’s president. Kevin Sarber, who served as WRG’s original president for five years after its founding in 2002, has been appointed for a second term following Tim’s retirement.
Under Dolan’s leadership, WRG said it has grown its revenue and nationwide client base, with over 90 clients of its digital banking platforms and over 30 clients of its Service Bureau solution. Tim’s tenure at Wescom has also included other roles, in which he was responsible for information technology, IT security, facilities, and two other CUSO’s. Tim oversaw the team responsible for the purchase, design, construction and opening of WRG’s Anaheim Operations Center in 2006, which remains WRG’s primary application hosting center for most of its services.
“Working with WRG’s people and our clients has been a wonderful experience,” declared Dolan. “We have witnessed great progress, with many significant accomplishments by us and our clients. Their hard work, relentless effort, and creativity made it all happen.”
Kevin Sarber’s return provides WRG with clear continuity. In his over 17 years with Wescom, he has been responsible for Wescom’s information technology, payment systems, member services, and digital channels. For the past nine years, Kevin served as a member of WRG’s board of directors. “I am honored and excited to be coming back to serve as the president of Wescom Resources Group. Tim has left some very large shoes to fill, but also leaves us with great momentum for a strong 2017 and beyond.”
