Two More CUs Select Strum Agency

SEATTLE—Two more credit unions have signed with Strum Agency, a financial branding and marketing firm.

Oak Ridge, Tenn.-based Y-12 Federal Credit Union and San Luis Obispo, Calif.-based SESLOC Credit Union reported they have switched their agency service relationships as part of their effort to “improve their competitive brand positioning, market reputation and overall growth objectives,” Strum Agency said.

“We did a national search and ultimately selected Strum for their expertise in building market share and relationships in an increasingly dynamic marketplace,” said Y-12 VP of Marketing and Sales Amber Price. “It’s an opportunity to re-energize our brand and advertising with fresh ideas and smarter digital approaches to growth.”

Added Kelly Fite, CMO with SESLOC, “Digital marketing, advertising and the use of data is changing so fast, we needed an agency that specialized in financial services to help us improve the effectiveness of our marketing results. Strum has a great track record of results in creating differentiation and consumer acquisition with intelligent digital marketing. We’re excited to get underway.”

‘Branding Revolution’

Karen McGaughey, VP-client services with Strum, said the company has been helping its clients to lead what she called a “branding revolution.”

“We’ve helped our financial clients lead a branding revolution to grow and compete at the highest level in their markets,” said McGaughey. “We are a passionate extension of our clients’ own marketing teams and we work to help them target, innovate, leverage data insights and tell compelling stories with rich media and relevant content that wins new customers and amplifies growth results.”
