GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-More than a dozen credit unions have now signed on with Xtend for its Zipwhip two-way landline texting solution.
“We are getting feedback that members ask for texting even before credit unions have gone live with the product,” said Xtend CEO Liz Winninger. “As a conversational tool, two-way texting is easy to implement and use. It is encouraging to see that both our credit union clients, and the members they serve, are eager about connecting in new ways.”
Xtend added that it continues to develop the product with educational materials and marketing resources. The CUSO said it is also in the early phases of building a proof-of-concept where the Xtension Contact Center will handle text conversations with members on behalf of credit union member support teams.
