Two CUs Select QCash Platform

OLYMPIA, Wash.–Two credit unions have chosen the life-event lending platform from QCash Financial.

Las Colinas FCU (LCFCU) selected the solution to automate the manual process to the Irving, Texas-based credit union.

“LCFCU is excited to work with and incorporate QCash’s automated mobile life event lending platform into our system,” said Kevin Scott, CEO for LCFCU. “Thanks to QCash, we foresee our new and enhanced mobile small dollar lending solution to be a core feature to improving our members’ access to more fast and affordable credit.”

Added Seth Brickman, CEO of the CUSO QCash Financial, “QCash is so proud to offer a solution that enables LCFCU individuals and families in and around Irving the chance to improve their financial health and well-being. Improving access to affordable credit for underserved individuals allows them the opportunity to take care of life’s unexpected emergencies and get back on the path to better financial stability.”

QCash said its platform hosts an automated, fully-configurable mobile life event loan program featuring their “under 60 seconds” application process that includes decisioning and deposit into the applicant’s account.

“Using its relational underwriting algorithm, the QCash platform allows for a more in-depth and detailed 360-degree evaluation process that accounts for more than the applicant’s simple credit score,” the company said.

Founders Makes its Choice

Also choosing QCash Financial was Lancaster, S.C.-based Founders Federal Credit Union.

The move continues the credit union’s long-held legacy of service and giving to their community, FFCU said. That tradition is now bolstered through a QCash partnership that will provide fast and efficient mobile small dollar lending to Founders’ 221,000-person membership, it added.

“Working with QCash and adding their flexible lending platform to our existing lending services has proven to be a wonderful opportunity,” said Founders president and CEO, Bruce Brumfield. “QCash’s relational-decisioning engine offers our members accessibility to credit in a convenient and timely manner. It has certainly been a game-changer.”
