LIBERTY LAKE, Wash.–CU*NorthWest announced that Spokane Media Federal Credit Union and Spokane Firefighters Credit Union have extended their core processing contracts with the CUSO. Both credit unions are founding members of CU*Northwest.
“As an original owner, Spokane Media FCU recognized that as a cooperative financial services provider it makes sense that we would want our data processor to be a true cooperative,” said Spokane Media FCU President & CEO Debie Keesee. “That cooperative foundation has enabled us to deliver products and services to our members that we would not have been able to offer in a non-cooperative environment. We are excited to be extending our relationship for an additional five-year term.”
Spokane Firefighters CU CEO Todd Powell added, “Although our credit union was a founding member of the CU*NorthWest CUSO, we still take the time to evaluate alternatives when contracts expire. Once again we have signed a five-year agreement with CU*NorthWest as they are clearly the best option for our credit union and members. CU*NorthWest has continued to grow and our list of services offered as a result of our affiliation has also grown over time. They are the clear and obvious choice for our organization.”
