MILTON, Mass.– Tremont Credit Union said it has selected COCC as its long-term technology partner, saying it chose the company COCC for its integration and efficiencies as well as to provide its members with a faster, easier and more convenient experience.
The $230-million Tremont CU has four branch locations in the Greater Boston area. Having begun as the Boston Teachers Federal Credit Union, Tremont has now grown to serve membership groups that include Boston Public Schools, Boston Children’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Blue Cross Blue Shield and MassBio.
“It is always exciting to partner with a company whose member-focused mission aligns so closely with our own core values,” said Richard A. Leone, COCC’s Chief Executive Officer. “Partnering with clients who share the same values and helping them serve their members is always rewarding for us at COCC.”
Member service is paramount for Tremont, according to President/CEO George G. Hardiman. “These enhancements will allow us to offer new services and should also provide our management team with improved data which will allow us to more easily evaluate and improve our services going forward,” he said. “New technology also illustrates that our credit union is always looking to make things easier and more convenient for its members.”
