SAN DIEGO–THRIVE Strategic Services has added Big Data education sessions to its growing list of offerings.
“The concept of Big Data seems to cause big confusion in the marketplace,” says Anne Legg, Founder of THRIVE Strategic Services. “It can mean many things, but for the credit union industry, it is about understanding how connected credit union data can benefit members. To help credit unions gain clarity on this subject, the THRIVE Education Sessions were created.”
Led by seasoned instructor Anne Legg, the education sessions were designed to be scalable engagements created to educate a variety of audiences about the power of connected data and how it will create value/growth to both the credit union AND its members.
Sessions can be as short as one-hour and as long as two days. They can be presented remotely via video conferencing/webinar and in person. Instruction format can range from engaging lecture to interactive, hands-on activities with high audience participation.
Commonly covered topics are:
- The definition and application of big data
- Marketplace disruption
- Member value creation
- Transforming the business model
Audiences range from board members to the front line. Session instruction may include; in and out of industry case studies, broad conceptual overviews, small group work, and actionable takeaways.
