ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.– Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger will deliver the opening keynote address when PSCU holds its Member Forum 2017: The Story of Service in Palm Desert April 4-6.
The CUSO said its annual gathering of its owner credit unions centers on the themes of support, protect and optimize, which comprise the three pillars of PSCU¹s service delivery model.
“Each year at Member Forum, we want to raise the bar for the attendee experience and the value they receive from networking with peers, hearing from experts about leadership, service and new trends in the industry,” said Scott Wagner, PSCU’s chief revenue officer. “We structure the agenda to align with our owners’ objectives and deliver the kinds of information and ideas they can take back and apply in their credit unions.”
Sullenberger became internationally renowned on January 15, 2009 when he and his crew safely guided US Airways Flight 1549 to an emergency water landing in New York City’s frigid Hudson River. Sullenberger’s exploits have since been featured in a movie in which Tom Hanks plays Sullenberger.
Other Member Forum general and leadership session speakers include Jim Nussle, president and CEO of CUNA; Tom Flick, a leading authority on leadership and helping organizations accelerate personal, team and organizational performance, and Larry Clinton, president and CEO of the Internet Security Alliance (ISA) and a leading figure in the field of corporate governance. Carey Lohrenz, the first female Navy F-14 jet pilot, will deliver the event’s closing keynote address.
PSCU said breakout sessions this year address case studies of analytics in action; best practices for mitigating cyber threats; countering fraud trends in a post-EMV environment; emerging technologies such as faster payments and biometrics; loyalty and rewards; and PSCU¹s integration and API capabilities along with its product and IT development roadmap. At the Product Expo attendees can demo the solutions that collectively help PSCU and Owners support, protect and optimize each transaction.
Registration for PSCU Member Forum 2017 is open to all PSCU Owner credit unions until March 3 through the company¹s secure client
