MEMPHIS, Tenn.—Share One, Inc. is pleased to announce its recent hiring of Rick Shockley, who joined the sales team as Senior Sales Representative for the Southeastern Division. Rick’s duties include maintaining the market share and momentum Share One has experienced in that region while helping build brand awareness for the Windows/SQL based NewSolutions core processing system.
“We are excited to have such a seasoned industry expert on our sales team,” said Don Conrad, SVP Sales, Share One, Inc. “Rick’s knowledge will allow us to refine our current sales strategies, identify new prospective credit union initiatives, and continue to be a leader in educating our prospective clients through the core provider selection process,” he said.
Rick brings 38 years’ experience serving the financial industry to the Share One toolkit. For the past nine years, he served as an advisor serving to guide credit unions’ selection teams through the sometimes daunting task of searching for a core provider. This experience gives Rick an expansive understanding of all the major core vendors in the current credit union industry landscape. Earlier career experiences include working with three data centers and spending five years with Ernst & Young where he led a consulting practice serving the community bank industry.
Rick’s tenure includes holding Senior Management positions in conversions, consulting, sales & marketing and executive account management. He has provided project management and consulting for over 100 credit union and bank conversions in both in-house and on-line environments. His clients have ranged from $3 billion in assets to De Novo institutions.
He is a past chairman and board member of the Credit Union Executive Society's Financial Suppliers Advisory Forum.
