COLLEGE STATION, Texas—Rentsys Recovery Services, a provider of comprehensive business continuity solutions, has launched its BlackVault data storage appliance to enable providers to restore data within their recovery time objectives. Rentsys’ storage appliance is preconfigured and fully integrated, eliminating the need for high capital expenditures on data replication and disaster recovery equipment, the company said, adding that it includes preinstalled software, a server and technical assistance from Rentsys staff.
To accommodate individual businesses’ needs, BlackVault replicates any chosen data within its storage appliance, offers physical and virtual recovery capabilities and scales as needed. It is designed to provide remote monitoring and recovery assistance in the case of a loss of important documentation.
