LAKEWOOD, Colo.– CU Service Network announced that Casper, Wyo.-based Reliant FCU is now part of the CO‐OP Shared Branching Network. The credit union’s two branches in Casper and Douglas, Wyo. are now open for guest members to conduct transactions, and their own membership can enjoy access to over 5,600 branches on the network.
“Shared branching has allowed our members who are not living in close proximity of one of our branches access to their credit union,” noted Angel Phillips, Reliant FCU’s Member Service Manager.
The credit union said that with a local economy heavy on mining, oil, and transportation, much of the Casper population is prone to travel and have greater need for access to a shared branch.
In addition, CU Service Network said that when members move away or head to college, shared branching allows them an option to continue banking at Reliant FCU.
“We welcome Reliant FCU and their members to our shared branching network and 5,000-plus locations,” said Doug Burke, president/CEO of CU Service Network. “We are equally excited to add the credit union’s three Wyoming locations. It’s all about convenience, so the more, the better.”
