DALLAS—Registration is now open for Catalyst Corporate’s 38th annual Economic Forum, which will be held October 5-7 at the Omni Mandalay Hotel near here.
This year’s Economic Forum, themed Perception Vs. Reality, features a full slate of financial industry experts and knowledgeable economists ready to share their insights—focusing on critical issues credit unions will face in the coming months.
In addition to the economists and industry experts who bring the big-picture perspective, Catalyst Corporate said this year’s Economic Forum agenda includes a full day of focused, credit union-centric, timely strategies for balance sheet management presented by its experts on Monday, Oct. 5. Attendees will be able to select from two tracks – a Director's Track for volunteers and a Manager's Track that includes strategic approaches for ALM and investment management.
NCUA Board Member J. Mark McWatters has also joined the line-up of presenters slated for the Economic Forum.
The Economic Forum speaking line-up also includes newcomers Daniel Levine and Andrew Busch.
Levine, a trends expert, will identify industry social trends and offer techniques for responding to these trends in a way that generates positive results for the credit union. Levine serves as director of The Avant-Guide Institute and is global editor of WikiTrend.org. While his research-driven presentations are energetic, humorous and provocative, their practical focus inspires attendees to take note and take action.
Andrew B. Busch is the host of VoiceAmerica's "Engage with Andy Busch." Andy's show covers politics and money. Busch appears weekly on FOX Business' Opening Bell with Maria Bartiromo, as well as on Foxbusiness.com. He has also served as Editor-in-Chief for the global market and public policy newsletter, "The Busch Update," for the past 13 years.
