MADISON, Wis. – Registration has now opened for a series of bi-monthly webinars from CUNA Mutual Group that the company said will feature actionable insights from thought-provoking, inspiring and exciting business leaders.
“Attendees of our annual Discovery event have expressed interest in receiving more content throughout the year,” said David Sweitzer, CUNA Mutual Group’s executive vice president, chief experience officer. “Each webinar will be unique. But in general, attendees will notice a few recurring themes like leadership development and trends.”
The first session will be on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. CT, featuring a panel of experts, including CUNA Mutual Group’s vice president for sales specialists, Becki Hagerman, discussing the company’s new proprietary research exploring the strategic choices credit unions are making in response to three questions from the book, Playing to Win: How Strategy Really Works.
The second session, in December, will feature the first female F-14 Tomcat Fighter Pilot in U.S. Navy history, Carey Lohrenz. Lohrenz, who will share her experiences operating in one of the world’s most challenging environments––an aircraft carrier––to help attendees learn to overcome pressure, stress, chaos, burnout, and anxiety. Registration for the event will begin in October.
