MADISON, Wis. – Registration is now open for CUNA Mutual Group’s 11th annual, online Discovery conference on Aug. 13. The company said the conference, which is free, brings together subject matter experts covering an array of topics to “help credit unions spark their annual strategic planning process and lead through pivotal times.”
CUNA Mutual said in addition to a wide range of sessions, the conference will bring together industry leaders for a discussion about “collaboration within the credit union movement to meet the needs of members when they need us the most.”
CUNA Mutual President and CEO Bob Trunzo will join CUNA CEO Jim Nussle, NCUA Chairman Rodney Hood, NASCUS CEO Lucy Ito, and NAFCU CEO Dan Berger for a conversation, and credit union CEOs will also headline a panel discussion about leading through crisis while taking care of members.
“Now more than ever, credit union leaders need the opportunity to come together, learn and plan for the future. We’ll cover timely key topics, including leading in challenging times, hearing from key industry leaders, and economic impacts on members,” said Trunzo. “We’ve successfully presented this virtual conference for the past decade, and we welcome the opportunity to again offer critical content that will help credit unions navigate and consider these pivotal times and embark on strategic planning.”
Other Opportunities
CUNA Mutual said attendees will also have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions and visit inspiration stations on topics, such as people helping people in the digital era, economic outlook and the impact on credit union members, 2020 market updates, emotional engagement in member experience and more.
