GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.–CU*Answers said it recently ended the enrollment period for its first quarter contest in 2017 and is excited to announce that the contest has generated a record number of participants.
As part of CU*OverDrive, contests are run quarterly for two consecutive months as a way of increasing credit union services such as e-statements, bill pay, debit cards and more. So far, 82 client credit unions have enrolled in the quarterly contests and as the year continues CU*Answers anticipates more credit unions partaking, the CUSO said.
Contest enrollment is free to all CU*Answers credit unions and offers a complete digital marketing package that includes a website banner, OBC banner, hybrid mobile app advertisement, MAP (Membership Application Process) promotion and more. CU*Answers purchases a prize each quarter and handles the tracking of results, making it effortless for clients to participate.
CU*Answers said it continue to leave the contest enrollment form open, so any credit unions that missed the deadline will still have a chance to sign up for 2017. For a closer look at the CU*Answers contests, including enrollment and contest rules, visit its marketing website.
Separately, CU*Answers kicked off the implementation of a year-long project to revamp the navigation system used by its CU*BASE® core processing system. Replacing the current menu-driven system, the new navigation is designed to serve the “Google generation” for whom searching is the norm.
“These days credit union employees assume that browser-like search techniques will be embedded in any software application they use,” said Dawn Moore, CU*Answers Vice President of Product Design. “They also expect that they will be able to personalize their environment to work the way they do. The new CU*BASE navigation system includes features that will shorten the learning curve for new users, with a built-in ‘it’s me’ focus that lets users set things up their own way.”
The new features were introduced to credit union CEOs attending last week’s CEO Strategies event in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and this week the employees of the CUSO got an insider’s preview. Plans are already well underway for the product rollout, which is scheduled for February 2017. Learn more in the CU*Answers Kitchen.
