RICHMOND, Va. – RVA Financial FCU has expanded its partnership with CO-OP Financial Services to perform In-House Credit services, in addition to re-signing with the company to provide debit and PIN processing and ATM terminal driving.
“RVA Financial was looking for a provider to help elevate our entire cards program,” said Rick Preble, president/CEO of RVA Financial. “We were looking to have both the debit card and credit card portfolios under one relationship. We want to make it easy for both members and staff; and moving everything to one provider gives us additional control and features.
“CO-OP provided a much more clear strategic alignment and focus on delivering enhanced digital experiences than the other processors we looked at,” continued Preble. “In addition, CO-OP did a much better job of getting to understand RVA Financial. CO-OP spent time discussing both our strategic plan and how CO-OP could help us achieve it. Maintaining Control
CO-OP said its debit and In-House Credit processing enable credit unions to easily add the competitive, benefit-rich payments products members expect.
“In-House Credit lets credit unions maintain control over back office operations, while card fulfillment, cardholder benefits, security, loyalty programs and data analytics tools make the CO-OP offering a comprehensive processing solution,” the company said.
The $72-million RVA Financial has more than 13,000 members.
