PROVIDENCE, R.I.— Postal Government Employees FCU has signed a contract to migrate its DataSafe Core Processing System to United Solutions Company (USC).
“PGEFCU selected USC as its technology partner because of their commitment to help credit unions grow and succeed. PGE FCU is excited to collaborate with USC on their business strategy and member growth initiatives,” said Tallahassee, Fla.-based USC.
“Postal Government Employees Federal Credit Union is a very well run shop,” said Jim Giacobbe, president and CEO of USC. “United Solutions is proud to have been chosen to work collaboratively with CEO Kenn Poyton and his team to execute their strategic vision. Our plan is to enhance the credit unions core processing experience through improved software, better service, and a trusted partnership mentality.”
Added PGEFCU CEO Kenneth Poyton, “We are most excited about incorporating all of the time-saving products USC will be offering us with the migration, such as Wisdom. By selecting a CUSO, not only will we be placing ourselves in a better position financially, but we will be able to concentrate more on our membership.”
United Solutions has been hosting the Fiserv DataSafe Core Data Processing System since the CUSO’s inception in 1983.
‘Attractive, User Friendly’
“The Fiserv DataSafe System provides easy-to-use, browser-based technology that is attractive, user-friendly and feature-rich. The member data is stored in an object-oriented relational database incorporating the latest technology such as .NET, AJAX, SOAP, and more. Products such as in-house credit card processing, a best-of-breed home banking product, cross-sell products, relationship pricing, risk-based pricing, shared branching and an easy-to-use real-time SQL reporting module are just some of the system highlights,” USC said.
