COLUMBUS, Ohio–Corporate One announces the election William P. Allender, president and CEO of BMI FCU, to its board.
Allender has served as the president and CEO at BMI Federal Credit Union since June 2012. He has been with BMI Federal Credit Union since 2003, previously serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer/Vice President of Finance. With more than 22 years of experience in the credit union industry, Allender has a long history of credit union industry engagement and collaboration. Before joining BMI Federal Credit Union, Allender was a controller for a credit union and worked as senior auditor for a firm specializing in credit union clients.
Allender is a licensed certified public accountant and a member of the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES). He earned his Certified Chief Executive (CCE) and Certified Innovation Executive (CIE) designations from CUES in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He has also served on the Corporate One Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee since 2010 and as the Supervisory Committee's representative to the Enterprise Risk Management Committee from 2011 to 2015.
