NAFCU Launches New HR Community

ARLINGTON, Va.–NAFCU has launched a new member-only online community for human resources professionals. NAFCU said its new Human Resources Network will join its other four networks: CFO Network; Compliance, Risk & BSA Network; Lending Network, and Marketing & Growth Network.

“It is in NAFCU’s DNA to help credit unions, and the employees that make them run. This new network is for the human resources professionals who recruit, retain and develop those employees,” said NAFCU Executive Vice President and COO Anthony Demangone. “The NAFCU team huddled, collaborated and launched an exclusive, member-only online community to connect credit union human resources professionals together to learn. Through this partnership, credit unions can discuss and share strategies for talent acquisition and retention, company culture and growing their teams professionally. Likewise, NAFCU can also hear more from credit unions and tailor our services to better serve our membership.”

According to NAFCU, the Human Resources Network gives participants access to:

  • Active discussion threads and knowledge exchange with peers
  • A resource library of templates, reports and training from best-in-class organizations and peers
  • Behind-the-scenes insights from NAFCU staff and industry experts
  • A member directory of fellow NAFCU member credit union human resources professionals to connect with.

The group said participation in the network is limited to the specific role/function to keep the focus on topics and networking most relevant to the human resources role.
