DENVER–The Mountain West Credit Union Association (MWCUA) has finalized an initial strategic partnership agreement with AUTOPAY, a provider of full-spectrum automobile purchase financing and refinancing to the credit union industry. The MWCUA currently has 126 credit unions in three states, Colorado, Arizona and Wyoming. The combined membership of all 126 credit unions in the region is 3.1 million members and $37 billion in assets.
“AUTOPAY’s web and mobile-enabled applications, data security and compliance certifications were all key factors in determining to partner with them,” said Mike Atchison, Senior Vice President of Credit Union Relations for the MWCUA. “We expect members of our Association to see increases in loan volume, improved portfolio performance and streamlined processes as a result of being AUTOPAY customers.”
According to the MWCUA, credit unions partnering with AUTOPAY benefit from end to end process management, including data collection, automated closing documents, and title guarantees. All operations are supported by AUTOPAY’s proprietary technology, which systematically performs lender matching and enables geo-targeting to increase market penetration into fields of membership. AUTOPAY also provides credit unions with actionable analytics for better understanding of market positioning and trends.
