Moonlight CU Adds Cummins Allison ATM, Coin Counter

MT. PROSPECT, Ill.–Cummins Allison is reporting that Moonlight Credit Union in Worthington, Penn. has added a deposit-taking ATM and a self-service coin counter to better serve its members.

“As Armstrong County’s fastest growing credit union, we’re always looking for ways to improve the banking services that we provide to our members,” said Kelly Friedl, manager, Moonlight Credit Union.

Moonlight Credit Union selected a Cummins Allison H34N envelope deposit ATM and Money Machine 2 self-service coin counter. “The ATM provides a new layer of convenience our members didn’t have previously. Instead of sending them to another institution to use an ATM, they have convenient 24 hours a day and 7 days a week access to cash withdrawals and the ability to deposit cash or checks when we are not open,” added Fridl.

Moonlight Credit Union also needed to replace an aging coin counter. One of the most notable differences of the self-service coin counter is how little work they require from tellers. “Instead of tending to the coin machines, the tellers are taking care of members,” said Friedl. “The Money Machine is easy to work with and the uptime is fantastic. Members like the speed and the fact that it’s much quieter in the lobby when coin is being processed.”

“Moonlight Credit Union continues to invest in solutions which enhance their members’ experience,” said Bob Gibson, vice president, Cummins Allison. “The ATM and Money Machine 2 bring the best of our self-service technology to Moonlight Credit Union’s members so they can complete their transactions faster and get on with the rest of their day.”
