MERRITT ISLAND, Fla.–The $736-million Launch FCU here has selected the FASTdocs enterprise content management (ECM) suite from Alogent to move toward streamlined, member-centric operations.
LFCU said it has been facing demands for more services to serve a growing membership, but was hindered by reliance on inefficient paper-based processes. Its legacy ECM system lacked integration, accessibility and usability and left it with costly secure storage requirements, according to Peachtree Corners, Ga.-based Alogent.
“The FASTdocs suite is a key upgrade for Launch FCU," said Byron Miller, AVP, Project Management. “Its intuitive user interface makes internal adoption attractive, and its ability to integrate with our other existing and future systems will significantly improve operations. Customizable viewing restrictions and preferences will let us automate many of our processes, drastically reduce our reliance on paper, and take a big step toward our goal of becoming truly paperless."
FASTdocs' member-centric file structure and smooth integration with core and other systems mirror and support the way credit unions operate, Alogent said. Specifically, the credit union has adopted:
- FASTdocs File Import Studio and Batch Scan, to digitize and manage documents and information of all kinds and from all sources, making them available wherever needed, subject to permissions
- FASTdocs Workflow to automate processes across the institution, speed service to members and remove heavy burdens from employees
- WebShare with eDelivery plus WebShare Upload to establish two-way, multi-channel member communications via email or through online banking
“FASTdocs 5 positions Launch FCU to support unlimited member growth, while serving members better and more cost-efficiently," said Alogent Director of Marketing Alissa Fry-Harris. “Alogent's mission, which emphasizes continuous innovation plus solid performance, aligns well with the credit union's service and strategic goals."
