MUSKEGO, Wis.–– Innovative employee benefit solutions were the subject of InterLutions’ inaugural I-Care HR Forum here. The collaborative educational event—held at Corporate Central Credit Union—offered opportunities to network, share experiences, and gain insights into how I-Care employee benefits can help credit unions take control of increasing benefit management challenges, the company said.
“Credit unions can afford to give their employees the benefits they deserve if they do healthcare the same way credit unions do everything else: through collaboration,” said Jesse Kohl, President of InterLutions. “When credit unions work together and pool resources through I-Care, they’re able to not only create better benefit packages and lower healthcare premiums for their employees, they’re also able to lower the cost of providing those benefits. It’s a win-win for both employees and credit unions.”
Participants heard informational presentations on the latest trends in wellness programs, data/analytics usage, and claims cost-control strategies from representatives of Lockton. Attendees also participated in roundtable discussions focused on successes, challenges, and future initiatives to improve employee benefits at each participating CU, according to InterLutions.
“The opportunity to exchange solutions with healthcare experts and other credit union HR professionals about common challenges related to our HR and employee benefit programs was invaluable,” said Terri Green, AVP of HR of Fox Communities Credit Union. “The I-Care HR Forum reminded us that the more credit unions work together, the better benefits we can provide to our employees.”
Forum participants included HR professionals from Advia Credit Union, Co-op Credit Union, DuPage Credit Union, Educators Credit Union, Fox Communities Credit Union, Landmark Credit Union, and Westby Co-op Credit Union.
