HONOLULU–Hawaii Central FCU here has selected CU*Answers to provide it with core data processing and other services.
The credit union plans to convert to the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based CUSO in January of 2019 and becomes CU*Answers’ first Hawaii-based core data processing client.
“After a lengthy search involving countless meetings and visiting of other credit unions, we were impressed with the suite of products and services that CU*Answers is able to provide,” said Drake Tanabe, president/general manager of Hawaii Central FCU. “Their core system, CU*BASE, will allow our employees to better service our members through a feature rich, user-friendly interface. As a CUSO, they share the same values and beliefs we do, and we look forward to providing our members with state-of-the-art quality products and services for many years to come.”

Hawaii Central FCU has become the cooperative’s 133rd equal-owner following its recent stock purchase.
