MILWAUKEE, Wis.– Credit union HR professionals gathered last week to learn for InterLutions’ Fall HR Forum, where the attention was on innovative and collaborate employee engagement solutions.
The educational event also focused on modernizing benefit plans through enhanced data and technology. Jesse Kohl, president of InterLutions, addressed the current state of the CUSO’s collaborative employee benefits solution, I-Care, and how they are able to leverage data from thousands of credit union employee claims experience reports to drive down healthcare costs.
As part of the event, attendees also participated in a roundtable discussion focused on successes, challenges, and future initiatives to improve employee engagement at credit unions.
“We all want to give employees the benefits they deserve, and we believe a collaborative approach is the right model for credit unions,” said Kohl.
Added Roberta Kozlowicz, EVP with DuPage Credit Union in Naperville, Ill., “The opportunity to exchange ideas with healthcare experts and credit union HR professionals about common challenges related to our benefit programs is invaluable. This HR Forum reminds us that the more credit unions work together, the better benefits we can provide to our employees.”

Successful Use of AI
According to Corporate Central, participants heard a presentation focusing on the successful utilization of artificial intelligence technology to enhance employee engagement and increase the usage of telemedicine applications. Another session keyed in on strategies to modernize credit unions voluntary and ancillary benefit plan designs, the company said.
InterLutions said it is also offering a new digital HR forum, a secure online portal and email channel specifically designed for credit union HR contacts. The digital HR forum, called CUHR, gives participants the ability to pose questions and strategies to their peers across the country.
“Pooling, sharing, and innovating together is the credit union way and I-Care is no different,” added Kohl.
