RALEIGH, N.C.– HALLCO Community Credit Union has selected the new Social Media Toolbox offered by ClickVue.
“None of us had ever been in charge of a business Facebook page. You have to take time out of your day and focus on what your post is going to be about that day,” the credit union noted. “We hoped it would be a way we could educate our members about their money. But creating that type of content ourselves was a major time commitment,” added Waldrop.
But then, HALLCO Community Credit Union began using the new Social Media Toolbox offered by ClickVue. “Now we have educational money videos and animations,” the credit union said. “It’s been a good way for us to relay information in a funny and quick way, and it really just takes a couple seconds.”
For more than a decade, ClickVue has provided financial institutions with educational videos to market products and services. ClickVue’s new Social Media Toolbox is designed to help credit unions of all sizes make the most of social media. “Most credit unions don’t have time to create a new video or animation every week. So we do it for them. Social media requires a lighter touch, so we make content that’s quick and entertaining while teaching important ideas,” said Scott Hanson, CEO of ClickVue.
Credit unions subscribe to access the Toolbox’s library of videos, animations and still images. They simply download the content they want, and post it on their social media, the company said. ClickVue produces a new video or animation each week. Topics range from security issues like “If You’ve Been Hacked” and “How to Make Better Passwords” to information about products like Apple Pay and Auto Loans.
“We saw many clients who had very sparse social media pages before they began using our Social Media Toolbox,” said Hanson. “Now, they have fresh content weekly, and their customers are sharing it with their friends.”
