Gold Coast CU One of 50 Elan Card Partners to Receive Donation

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.—Gold Coast FCU has been selected as one of Elan’s 50 credit union credit card partners to participate in Elan’s Across the Country Charitable Giving program.

As one of 50 selected partners, GCFCU was able to choose Education Foundation of Palm Beach County to receive a $12,500 donation, according to Elan.

“One of the hallmarks of the credit union industry is involvement in the community and working with charities,” stated Gold Coast FCU President and CEO Steve Bush.

In 2021, we established the Gold Coast Cares initiative and selected Education Foundation of Palm Beach County as one of our signature partners. The donation from Elan, on our behalf, will strengthen our partnership and further the impact in this community.”

Added Teresa Dabrowski, chief engagement officer for Education Foundation, “Elan’s $12,500 donation allows us to purchase vital school supplies. These resources are distributed to over 193,000 students and 12,000 teachers through the Palm Beach County School District free of charge through our Red Apple Supplies program. We’re so thankful for the generous donation from Elan and Gold Coast Federal Credit Union and for their time volunteering with us.”

Proud to be Involved

Elan Senior Vice President and General Manager John Owens said the company is proud to be involved in the initiative.

“The Education Foundation of Palm Beach County is dedicated to giving classrooms what they need to succeed, and we’re honored to help further their mission with this donation.”
