GREENSBORO, N.C.–First Carolina Corporate CU held its 35th Annual Meeting during the Carolinas Credit Union League Annual Meeting. There were 135 people present representing 60 credit unions, to discuss financial information and focus on a collective voice.
“It’s always nice to get together with our members to thank them for their business and role in helping us grow the company,” said President and CEO David Brehmer. Appreciation for the support of First Carolina members was a vital element of the meeting. “Financial education has become one of our core value propositions and I see that only growing in importance in the future,” added Brehmer.
While education is integral, First Carolina Corporate Credit Union said it offers much more and is a strong advocate for credit unions, providing regulatory compliance support, product enhancement, and service delivery.
Elected to the board were: Bob Bruns, Charlotte Metro CU; Jim McDaniel, Heritage Trust FCU; and Jack Braswell, Members CU. They ran unopposed and were re-elected to three-year terms.
