DestinationCompliance Introduced by CU Solutions Group

David Adams, MCUL

LANSING, Mich.–CU Solutions Group, in collaboration with the Michigan Credit Union League, CUNA and League InfoSight, has introduced DestinationCompliance, a single online portal through which credit unions can access all the support, insight, education and tools needed to help meet regulatory requirements, the company said.

According to CU Solutions Group, DestinationCompliance simplifies three important aspects of credit union compliance and regulation:

  • Advocacy: Helping credit unions advocate for change before regulations and laws are finalized
  • Information: Presenting educational resources via blog, newsletter and other online media
  • Implementation Tools: Providing model policies, management and tracking tools

“Because credit unions are not-for-profit, their first priority is finding ways to meet members’ needs through better rates and fees. Often, limited staff and resources and overwhelming state and federal regulations make it difficult to stay on top of compliance requirements,” MCUL CEO Dave Adams said in a statement.  “DestinationCompliance provides a single, comprehensive set of resources to help credit unions stay compliant while freeing up more time for them to get back to the business at hand – helping members.”

The resource is currently available for use by MCUL affiliated credit unions at no cost. Plans are in place to offer this resource to interested leagues and credit unions in the near future.
