COLLEGE PARK, Ga.–Credit Union Loan Source (CULS) recently hired William Moniz to take over for retiring CEO Ralph Jones.
An accomplished and seasoned risk professional with more than 15 years in the auto finance and banking industry, Moniz joined CULS in January. Jones, who has been at the helm of CULS since 2004, will remain on board during the leadership transition and will officially retire in April.
“I’m very excited about this new phase in my career,” Moniz said. “It really is a people and service-centered group, and I am already really enjoying my time here. This organization has a great reputation and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together.”
Most recently Moniz was a Senior Vice President of SunTrust Bank’s Consumer Lending Division. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President, Director of Risk Management in the Consumer Finance Division of Belmont Savings Bank.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Rhode Island and is a graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association Graduate School of Retail Bank Management. He and his wife Trish have two children and live in Woodstock, GA.

It is very satisfying to leave this organization – and the wonderful team we’ve built – knowing it’s in such good hands. I know clients are going to appreciate what Bill brings to the table and I expect Credit Union Loan Source to continue to thrive under his leadership.”
