County Educators FCU Selects EPL As New Core Provider

ROSELLE PARK, N.J.–County Educators FCU has selected EPL as its new core solution provider. The $106.8-million County Educators now plans to convert to Birmingham, Ala.-based EPL’s open-core software system, i-POWER.

“EPL is a technology partner that truly understands the unique obstacles credit unions face daily. i-POWER provides us with the necessary flexibility we need to meet consumers’ dynamic technology needs, while also ensuring our members’ financial data is safely and securely stored,” said Patricia Curtin, information systems manager at County Educators FCU.  “Having previously worked with the i-POWER platform, I’ve seen first-hand the ease and efficiency of i-POWER’s integration with third-party solutions. We are excited about the opportunity to offer even more innovative services and products to our members.”

EPL said i-POWER’s open architecture allows for seamless integration with EPL’s proprietary technologies and a wide variety of third-party providers. This allows credit unions to respond to members’ technological demands more quickly and easily. Furthermore, i-POWER’s rich functionality and intuitive user interface creates a highly efficient operating environment, the company added.

Ability to Adapt

“i-POWER provides our credit union with a framework to adapt to long-term technological changes,” said Judite Pinho, CEO at County Educators. “We strive to serve as a benchmark organization and I believe our agreement with EPL will help maintain this standard now and into the future.”

Robin Kolvek, CEO at EPL added, “Our team is thrilled to be helping County Educators continue its growth trajectory. We, along with our board and partners at Dedagroup, are firmly committed to developing new technologies and providing unparalleled service to credit unions of all sizes.”
