MUSKEGO, Wis. – Credit union asset liability management (ALM) expert Danny McIntyre has been named Vice President Investment Services at Corporate Central Credit Union. McIntyre will lead Corporate Central’s ALM team in helping credit unions across the country fine-tune their balance sheets and investment portfolios for peak performance.
“We are very excited to have Danny on board,” said Kevin Chiappetta, Corporate Central Senior Vice President Investment Services. “For over a decade, Danny has helped credit unions build portfolios that holistically optimize both risk and return. His expertise will help Corporate Central achieve its goal of providing investment and balance-sheet savvy to credit unions nationwide.”
“I have never come across an organization that better encompasses the people-helping-people mantra that Corporate Central lives day in and day out,” McIntyre said. “I look forward to bringing that commitment to the next level and furthering Corporate Central’s mission to help members be Wildly Successful.”
Of the 35 years McIntyre has worked in the ALM field, 14 were spent exclusively helping credit unions develop investment expertise. McIntyre’s experience includes the establishment of a broker-dealer and trading desk at a corporate credit union, as well as extensive work in fixed-income markets.
As part of his new role, McIntyre will provide education and training services to credit union professionals and volunteers interested in learning how to keep their organization’s entire balance sheet optimized for repeated success. “We want to help credit unions become more and more proficient in navigating the investment world. That proficiency will allow them to spend more time on what they do best—serving their members,” McIntyre added.
McIntyre began his career trading U.S. Treasury, federal agency and mortgage-backed securities. He attended Loyola University and Delgado College in New Orleans, completing his studies in business at Tulane University. McIntyre also holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
